What determines the level of happiness of people from different countries, and what can make them happier? We tried to answer these questions in our brief study.
We have analyzed the correlation between the level of happiness in the majority of European countries, in Russia and Turkey, and a number of objective (income, health, the level of corruption) and subjective factors (satisfaction with personal life, economic expectations, etc.). Based on our analysis, these factors determine more than 90% of the difference in the level of happiness across the countries.
